May 21st Ceremony and Reception...

It was a beautiful day in AZ and our ceremony started off right as the sun began it's descent, which provided the perfect amount of shade for our guests. All of the movements for the ceremony were on time and it was so touching as the groom wiped a tear from his brides face during the ceremony.

The reception was so much fun! We did a huge grand entrance, settled down for dinner, toasted our B&G and then went on to our traditional dances. We kicked off the open dance floor with the classic electric slide and then went right to the party train that wrapped around the whole room picking up guests and bringing them out to the dance floor. It was a non stop party from there on out with very few slow songs in between.

The B&G were such a treat to work with and I wish them the best!

May 20th Wedding Reception...

May 20th was a beautiful wedding reception in Mesa, AZ. This was held at a private home with a wonderful layout that hosted lots of guests and just turned out perfect. I did the bridal party and B&G's grand entrance to "Jump Around" by House of Pain. The bridal party came in and waited for the B&G on the dance floor. Once everyone was on the dance floor they all jumped around with the B&G in the center. This was a really great way to start the celebration off!

Our B&G immediately went into their first dance as husband & wife. This was a very nice way to segue into the dinner part of our evening. After dinner we toasted, did our parents dances, then our groom had a very special dance with his new beautiful daughter. She was an absolute cutie...

We continued to dance the night away and we tossed the bouquet and garter. This couple was so sweet to work with. I'm so glad they chose me to be a part of their big day...

May 7, 2011 Wigwan Resort wedding reception...

My much anticipated May 7th wedding reception at the beautiful Wigwam resort was a great hit! The room was set very elegant with up-lighting and a large monogram with the couples last name initial. As guests arrived I immediately felt the energy of a dancing crowd.

I settled everyone down and we did the grand entrance of their 12 member bridal party followed with the bride & groom. They all stayed on the dance floor and danced to the rest of the song shaking and moving, the guests loved it. After that our bridal party sat down and our bride & groom graced the dance floor with their first dance as husband & wife...

The family pastor blessed the meal and dinner began. It was a delicious meal from the Wigwam resort. I played a selection of music that had everyone singing at their tables and conversating non stop. The energy was so high they were toasting each other at the tables and we even had some guests start a wave that went all around the room. Fun!

Champagne was poured and it was time to toast! We had some excellent speeches from the best man, maid of honor, the father of the bride and uncle Bob who reminded us of grandpa Rudy and you could feel the emotion in the room...

A slide show presentation followed our toasts and it was a wonderful story of where the B&G came from, where their at now, and everyone that has been in their life. Very nice touch.

"I gotta Feeling" by the Black Eyed Peas got everyone up and dancing for the kick off to opening the dance floor. They danced for a good 1 hour straight before we invited everyone over for the cutting of the cake.

"Pour some Sugar on me" was the song played while our B&G cut the cake. This definitely kept the energy high and the guests happy. While the wonderful wigwam staff cut the cake to be served to the guests we had our B&G on the dance floor for the dance with their parents. A very touching moment...

There was a large picture frame that people were holding and standing in getting pictures. I thought this was really cool and had never seen it before. The picture frame was literally 8ft wide by 4ft tall.

As dancing continued we played all the great hits from the fifties to what's popular today. This was a really great group and I enjoyed every minute of it. Congratulations Paul & Jenna!

Great Event!

The first annual Cinco de Mayo golf tournament for the Non-profit association of Hispanic-American real estate professionals held at Mccormick Ranch Golf in beautiful Scottsdale, AZ. The weather was perfect and the crowd was great. We started off with some up tempo music as golfers arrived in the main dining area of Mccormick Ranch.

As the evening progressed so did our music and when it was time to hand out prizes and awards everyone was feeling great and having fun! Afterwards everyone hung out and mingled untill it was time to go. It was a pleasure for me to DJ this event and I look forward to being a part of more with this fantastic group of people!

Wednesday is Prep Day...

Wednesday's are always great days. Usually I'm prepping music for the weekend's events, cleaning and checking sound & lighting gear, and going through and choosing the outfits for the weekend. This weekend will start early with Cinco de Mayo being on a Thursday.

I get start off with DJing a golf tournament at the McCormick Ranch in Scottsdale. This is a repeat client so I already know this crowd and am very excited to party with them. Saturday is probaly one of the biggest weddings of the year thus far. It is for a very important client. I really feel the pressure to hit a home run on this one. I know with the proper preparation I will be able to deliver to my fullest capabilities.

I'll keep you updated on the results and have some pics to share. Here's to great day!
